Food Booths

Food, Food, Food!  A veritable smorgasbord of food is available on both Dorsey and Live Oak fields. Available for your dining pleasure are a variety of hot entrees – hot dogs, Dodger dogs, hamburgers, tacos, pizza, BBQ, Polish sausage, teriyaki bowls, tri-tip, and pulled pork. Quench your thirst with a variety of refreshing drinks – water, lemonade, regular and diet sodas, smoothies, lemon chill, Hawaiian shave ice, root beer floats, Snapple and Gatorade. Don’t forget to satisfy your craving for sweets with funnel cakes, brownies, Krispie Kritters, candy, donuts or ice cream. For those in-between-meal munchies, don’t miss the ever-popular pepper-bellies or other snacks like Kettle Korn, nachos, and pretzels.

The Food Booths at the Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair are a mix of old and new. Several organizations have hosted a Food Booth for many years in a row, and each year there are new groups who recognize this unique fundraising opportunity and apply to participate.

On average, there are 60 local charitable organizations that apply to host a Food Booth. For many, this is a primary source of funding for their group’s cause.

The Food Booths are staffed by non-profit organizations only. Commercial food organizations are not permitted.

Deadline for soda/water booth lottery is June 12th as drawing is June 13th.  If you won the lottery last year, you cannot apply for this year.

Deadline for food booths is Friday, August 18th.
