2018 Hometown Fair

Nothing says “community” like the Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair.

We can’t wait to see you on October 6-7, 2018!

2017 Hometown Fair

Thank you to so many people who made the 2017 Hometown Fair a wonderful success.  Our October 24, 2017, meeting is open to the public.   Please join us in the Joslyn Center, Sunrise Conference Room at 7:00pm. We welcome your input.

With a hometown feel and a place for everyone, The Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair has had the privilege of celebrating the South Bay community for 45 years. Run by a 20 person volunteer board in partnership with the city of Manhattan Beach, tens of thousands of people flock to Manhattan Beach the 1st week in October to join in the fun – a parade to kick off the weekend, 3 stages where over 30 local groups perform, a venue for amateur artists to display their work, more than 100 food and game booths run by non-profit organizations to raise money, blocks of arts and craft exhibitors, a whole area of free entertainment for kids, and over a hundred volunteers to keep it all running smoothly.

In celebration of our 45th year, John Van Hamersveld, an American Graphic Artist, designer, illustrator and photographer, has designed this year’s Hometown Fair t-shirt.  Come to the Merchandise booth to purchase this memorable t-shirt celebrating the Fair’s 45th year!
